Trucking Tax Hub

A standalone brand and guided e-commerce experience for 1-800Accountant
ROLE
Freelance Brand and UI/UX Designer
SCOPE
Brand identity, UX architecture, conditional user flows, UI design, e-commerce, and Figma component library
A standalone identity and guided filing experience
1-800Accountant wanted to test a trucking-focused tax service under an identity separate from its primary brand. As the sole designer, I developed the branding and microsite, including the logo, color palette, and iconography. I mapped the user journey and designed the conditional question flow, from gathering business and vehicle information through review and checkout. I also built the Figma component library, documenting reusable controls, notifications, and interface states to support a consistent experience.
Visual Identity
Color palette
A blue gradient anchors the identity, supported by neutral backgrounds and orange accents retained from 1-800Accountant.
Foundations
A distinct logo incorporating the parent brand’s mark, with defined color roles and a Poppins type hierarchy.
Shared website components
Reusable navigation, buttons, cards, and content modules for consistent layouts across the microsite.
Layout and iconography
A column grid guides page structure, supported by solid interface icons, dimensional icons, and branded graphics.
Forms and progress
Reusable fields, selection controls, date selection, and document uploads support the filing process, with defined states for validation and progress.
Review and checkout
Editable summaries, optional services, payment fields, and an order summary bring the filing process through to checkout.
