Azusa began creating vivid portraits and pictures from her imagination when she was just four years old. Her fascination with the subject of real people and their diverse facial forms grew stronger as she got older, and today she focuses primarily on portrait work done either live or from a photo. When the mood strikes, she still also enjoys “working from her head,” creating images that integrate human facial features with non-human skulls, crystalline structures, and luxury food items. She began her formal art education at Valencia College and went on to receive a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of North Florida in 2015. Azusa is currently living in Orlando, FL and working as a freelance artist. Many of her pieces have been displayed in local galleries and shows in the Orlando and Jacksonville area.
